A straightforward strategy for effective leadership

In today’s world, we overcomplicate everything. including leadership. There are only a few tools you need to lead well :
Define Expectations:
Everyone wants to do well. Sure, some don’t, bad apples do exist. However, the majority of people find satisfaction in a job well done.
Actions typical of a leader
Demonstrate how it should be done.
Genuine Care:
I have worked under many leaders, and there is one common thing among them-
“He/she” cared about me.
We want it to be somewhere we are :
known, liked, and seen as a complete person.
Care and genuineness can’t be faked, and leaders who genuinely care win, and this includes commitment, effort, and relationships.
Constructive feedback
It’s important for development. But not all feedback is useful. No one likes leaders who point out every mistake. At best, it’s just distracting noise. In the worst case, it is rude and defeats the purpose.
The leader’s goal must be focused on seeing them get better, not making them feel better.
Authenticity
Culture is a mirror. It is a reflection of the principles held by the leader. Not what they claim to value, but what their actions indicate they value.
Great leaders don’t only talk about culture, They represent it.
Smile

When you’re the leader, no one cares about the day you’re having. They only care about whether or not you smile when you pass them on your way. A leader understands that a smile isn’t just a smile, it’s a signal that states:
Everything is okay.
Their job is secure.
They trust you, and most importantly, they are glad to have you on board.
A smile sets a positive tone, and people love to respond to that tone.
